Thank You for Your Support!

When we all got together in March of this year to talk about the problems we saw with Kotaku’s board game coverage, we never thought things would end up like this. Across the Board Games isn’t a big site. None of us make a living (or, to be honest, any money at all) from the website and all of us have full time day jobs. To see our little hobby project start getting easily over 100 views a day consistantly has been really exciting. That is one of the reasons why we’re so grateful to all of you who come here to read and share our content, because we put all of this together just for the love of board games.

Yesterday we launched our 100th article: The Gentrification of Game Stores. That post was saved specifically to be our 100th post because in a lot of ways it represents a shift forward in our communities, a shift that we’re proud to be a part of. I am so grateful to be part of such an amazing nerd community that celebrates such diversity and inclusiveness and is working together to improve ourselves in that regard. Thank you all so much for reading our thoughts on board games and sharing your own. We look forward to writing many more articles and we hope you look forward to reading them.
